I made it!

I made it to Guatemala City problem free! I walked out of the airport excited to see the sign with my name on it, as the hostel I booked was supposed to pick me up. Low and behold, there was no sign with my name on it and I wandered around for 45 minutes trying to figure out what in the world I was going to do. Fortunately, I met a really nice couple, one from Spain and the other from Germany who were headed to Antigua. I hitched a ride with them in our own private taxi. Once we got into town, the driver helped me find a place to stay. The hotel is nice, but my room feels like a muggy prison cell. No complaints though. I am happy to be here and to have met such wonderful people. Well, I am off to do some exploring and try to figure out what in the world I am going to do with myself for the next few months...
